Atlantic Packaging Expands Recycled Paper Production Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd., a Toronto, Ontario-based manufacturer of containerboard and corrugated packaging products, will add a recycled paper machine inWhitby, On- tario, to produce 400,000 tons per year of light-weight me- dium and liner. Production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2022. Second Machine The new paper machine will be Atlantic’s second recy- cled paper machine in Whitby. It is being built adjacent to the current machine, which has been operational since the 1990s. Atlantic Packaging Products reopened the Whitby mill in 2013 after converting production from newsprint to light-weight medium for use in the production of corrugat- ed containers. Ely Enterprises Welcomes Sales Manager Craig Parr is the new Sales Manager for the pneumatic conveying division of Ely Enterprises, Lorain, Ohio. Parr will be responsible for sales leadership with his main objective being the field analysis, design and sales of used/ reconditioned and new pneumatic conveying systems and material handling solutions as the application dictates to tie into existing line of balers and compactors.
