Quest Resource Holding Acquires Green Remedies Quest Resource Holding Corporation, The Colony, Texas, a national provider of environmental waste and recycling services, has acquired the assets of Green Remedies Waste and Recycling Inc., a provider of independent environmen- tal services located in Elon, North Carolina. The total consideration of the acquisition at close is $16.2 million, with approximately two thirds of the consideration to be paid in cash at closing and the remaining third to be delivered through a combination of common stock and a subordinated seller note.An additional 4 percent to 14 per- cent of consideration may be earned through an earn out tied to future performance over the next three years.During the Trailing Twelve Month (TTM) period ending on June 30, 2020, Green Remedies is estimated to have produced net income of $2.5 million andAdjusted EBITDA of $2.8 million, after adjustments for depreciation of $270,000 and interest expense of $30,000.The transaction is expected to be accre- tive on a free cash flow per share basis. DS Smith, a packaging company with corporate head- quarters in London, England, and U.S. headquarters based in Atlanta, Georgia, has appointed a new director for its Pa- per Division in North America.The company hired Giancar- lo Maroto as its Paper Division director in North America. James Walker, who previously held that position, will tran- sition to be director of the company’s Paper Division in Northern Europe. Prior to joining DS Smith, Maroto worked for Mondi, where he held various executive positions, including Man- aging Director of the Sack Kraft Paper business in North America,Managing Director of the Containerboard business in Turkey and Corporate Head of Digital Transformation. In his new position, Maroto will oversee operations at the company’s mills in Riceboro, Georgia, and in Reading, Penn- sylvania, as well as the North American recycling and forest- ry operations. DS Smith Appoints N. A. Paper Division Director DS Smith has 16 paper mills across the United States and Europe, producing around 5 million tons of paper annually. Capital Waste Names New COO Brian Yorston has been hired as the new COO of Capital Waste Services LLC, Columbia, South Carolina. Yorston began his career in 1995 with Houston, Tex- as-basedWaste Management, where he served as a Regional Manager and Corporate Director before being promoted to Vice President of the Compaction Equipment division.Most recently,Yorston served as National Director, Sales and Stra- tegic Planning for Los Angeles, California-based Rehrig Pacif- ic, a manufacturer of plastic pallets, plastic containers, roll- out recycling bins and commercial containers in the waste and recycling industry.
