And now it has been a much more challenging week! For the first time in years, my husband was doing so well in re- covering mobility and health that his neurologist discharged him and said, “Adjust your mind that you ARE getting better!” Two days later, in the early morning hours, he had another stroke. This one affected speech and swallowing more than anything previously. Couldn’t eat or drink anything at all. In two days, he declined to the point the doctors said his condi- tion was “fragile due to the weight of the many little strokes,” and activated the POA and suggested I reconsider resusci- tation. I understood this was yet another spiritual assault on him and us as well as learning that there are many other believers also dealing with strokes. Some may be due to the mRNA experimental gene therapy called “vaccinations.” There are flat out assaults on life itself in many arenas around the world as well as the adversary targeting believers it considers are thwarting its plans! We remember that the adversary has grown bold as he/it knows his time is short! We are in the season of Repentance/Teshuvah leading into the celebration of the Fall Feasts, which we have long associated with the Marriage Feast of the Lamb and a possible time for that Last Trump to sound! According to the Jewish calen- dar, The Feast of Trumpets /Yom Teruah is the only Feast to begin on the new moon, the timing of which is unclear. Although we don’t know the exact time, we are Children of the Light and can know the season! (1 Thessalonians 5: 4-6). For two years, my husband had become ill and needed hospital- ization right at the time we were celebrating the Spring AND the Fall Feasts, four times in a row. This year, it is a month prior to the celebration. This time, I asked all to be praying as I was: that no weapon fash- ioned against Bob or us would prevail…and every voice that rises in judgment against him we would refute in our righteousness that comes from our Father! (Isaiah 54:17). Prayers have been in the forefront of all of his many medical emergencies over the past 40 years, but this time I just felt angry at yet another situation after having been doing so well! I declared His Word, with more inten- tion than I think I have ever had before. (In Hebraic understanding they would say with “deeper Kavanah”). I declared and reminded Him of His promises to be our Shield…that although the righteous will have many troubles, HE will deliver from all! (Psalm 34:19). People on our prayer list began to ask people on their other prayer lists to join us. I was anointing him with appropriate essential oils for CVA recovery and was given permission to bring the infrared/red/LED light for him. Praying in faith and anointing…NOT looking to the properties of the essential oil, but the power of faithful prayer to activate the healing power our Abba put there through the oils….and the red light…and the power of His promises that we stand on. This felt like a different or deeper understanding and authority that came through me. I expect others have experienced this al- ready and I am just slow. I surely have felt beleaguered! After his decline, and cancellation of rehab referrals, he made an amazing turnaround on Friday morning and was again able to swallow; speech improved; his ability to stand returned and he was again comprehending what was going on around him! September 2025 I think our Abba delayed my writing of this September article for a broader purpose! I had been thinking along the lines of writing that the season has changed: we are in seri-
ous spiritual battle. It is past time to be lamenting when things don’t go as we know they SHOULD. Although I haven’t thought of it for a while, for many years I have observed that we shouldn’t be at all surprised when things go wrong but more amazed and grateful that in this fallen world things can go RIGHT at all! It was a week ago that I understood what the title should be. (It is a quote from Mac- beth, just FYI, but I didn’t get anything about pricking thumbs…) As we go through these times, our confident faith will be increas- ingly challenged… Will we allow our eyes to be drawn to the cir- cumstances we SEE around us or will we be able to look over that to what our Abba intends for us in the midst of them and see with our spirit through the Ruach haKodesh/Holy Spirit? HE is sover- eign over all.. and His ways ARE higher than our ways…can we stay aware of this deep truth and not just run over them like some pretty but ornamental only words? I well recall how sad and tragic it was to me when someone said to me, “You don’t really think that prayer changes anything, do you?” Yes, why YES! I do! I have said some time ago that it is really time for us to get past the “nice lady” prayers that are only about the physical challenges of health and weakness… not that asking for healing and health is a bad thing, but to acknowledge that there is a spiritual war under- pinning what is happening in the world, even and maybe especially in health! Like taking out the root of the dandelion instead of just plucking off the flower, we need to focus our prayer lives as knowl- edgeable and specific as I believe A. W. Tozer advised, perhaps also Oswald Chambers. We are the believers who our El Elyon/Most High God has directed to pray that HIS will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thus, we understand that His will isn’t al- ways done here…we need to accept both the privilege and the re- sponsibility to be the conduit of prayer asking for His Hand to intervene in what we see! And expect Him to respond! During our Spring Feast/Passover and Unleavened Bread gathering we read a book on prayers that commented that we need to be prayer WARRIORS, NOT prayer WORRIERS. Amen to that! In recent years, we in Set Apart Ministries, have learned that some aspects of spiritual warfare have changed. It isn’t always that someone has “given ground” so that there can be demonic inter- ference with them, although that certainly DOES still happen. The unholy watchers seem to be able to intrude on and harass anyone they choose until we look to Yeshua for deliverance. I have also observed a number of situations in which it appears that the adversary is able to fan a difficult situation into a flame, causing us to feel anger/hatred/contempt toward someone… which now in turn, causes our armor to fall off, and we are now vulnerable to its schemes. I’ve been there, too, and it isn’t a pleasant place! Yeshua grant us Your eyes to see and ears to hear, please! And increase our discernment to recognize when such a manipulation is happening before it leads to our harm! As He has done in the past, He allows some things to continue until the fullness of the iniquity is complete. So armor up! Remem- ber the priestly garments are a picture of that armor of Our God, even more so than the typical Roman armor metaphor. When we pray and seek His Face, as part of the Priesthood of YHWH, we are warring the warfare! A month later it was: “He is preparing a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Great good and great evil will be our banquet this year.” I understood years ago that He has made me a “watchman at the gate.” It took a while to understand what that means but it seems that I do not see to the FAR horizon, but rather when things are near, right outside or even inside our gates. So, I have been especially tuned to observing and asking for discern- ment as we go on; especially seeing such chaos exponentially growing around us. (It is my practice to “test everything — 1 Thes- salonians 5:21 — so the Scriptural Support for these understand- ings are: Psalm 23, Ecclesiastes 3; Isaiah 42:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17: Revelation 21:5). A month ago we had a sad situation involving the loss of a pet, which was quite unusual and difficult. Still, I understood that the life lesson in this one was to mourn, grieve and then accept and

Wickedness is ramping up.
We must get out of “usual times” mode and move into the battle- field mentality.
There is no time to dwell in emotions or regrets or the “what if’s.” We need to experience, accept, and move on. In war times, many tragic things happen all around but people have found spots of joy or relief in the midst of it; no longer expecting things to be “as they should” but as they are.
While still walking on earth, we need to move in our positional authority in Messiah!
And looking with anticipation to the revealing — the Apocalypse — that is nearer and nearer on the horizon. Great evil and great good is to be expected this year. The same events will bring terror to those who do not have the testimony of Messiah Yeshua or keep God’s commandments and will bring great joy to those who DO look to Him! (Revelation 12:17, 14:12). “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles , and let us run with endurance the race set out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Yeshua/Jesus, the Author and Per- fector of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God…” (Hebrews 12: 1-2 Berean Study Bible).
Yes, something wicked this way comes but Messiah is coming, too!
May we be found ready, and able to keep rank; His warrior Bride, in full array and confidence in Him.

were amazed and still are! Though now a few days later he is showing mild confusion, he is walking and talking. The doctors who said I should reconsider resuscitation are nowhere to be seen. All praise to our Almighty Ever living God! May they have eyes to see Your Hand! And we will continue to pray for His covering as the rear guard after such a bless- ing. The life lesson here seems to confirm that we need to look over and beyond what is seen, heard and felt; and focus on seeing and hearing through our spirit and the Holy Spirit. The world system does not know Him and His grace and power. We are seated at the right hand of the Father, with Messiah, above powers, principalities, thrones and dominions so we need to put that understanding in place with more authority than “just the facts” we experience. (Ephesians 2:5-7). It is possible to “know” these things from the Word yet we also need the experi- ence of walking in it for the depth of understanding and intimacy and authority with our Redeemer.
There is a difference between the western/Greek way of thinking and interpreting Scripture and the Hebraic worldview context that our Father chose to usher in our Messiah. The foundation of the Old Testament gives us what we need to correctly understand all that happens in and since the New Testament times.
