Revealing the Truth About Islam Can the Muslims Who Live in America be Americans? (Part Two)

She urges Muslims to become more involved in local schools, government, and community committees as a way to gain influence and share Islamic perspectives. She recommends volunteering in PTAs, school boards, libraries, book review com- mittees, and educational programs — particularly promoting Arabic (and thus Qur’anic) language courses. She stresses monitoring and influencing curriculum, opposing teachings she finds problematic (like certain family life education topics), and participating in teacher unions, human rights commissions, and advisory councils. Ulti- mately, she calls for creating a national Muslim Council on Educa- tion to distribute Islamic materials, shape book selections, track federal funding and laws, and coordi- nate outreach to teachers and non-Muslims through the public school system. This was simply the blueprint which was set 36 years ago. Most likely, the American people never heard of it. Because they never thought that the Muslim would be involved in that level in our government and in our schools. What is even worse is that now, this is the re- ality of what Muslims are doing in this great country. But still the American people do not know that this is what is taking place. I used to teach, years ago, that the American people are asleep — until the Lord convicted me of this repeated lie for, I know for sure that not only the American people in general but the Church in America specifically are not asleep, but they are actually living in a coma. Muslims emigrate from their own countries to America and the move from one state to another to serve in all these volunteer com- mittees. Yet, I could not find two conservative Christians in any of our small or large churches to volunteer to serve on a school board. What is so amazing is that Christians complain about the loss of power. For example, students cannot pray or read the Bible in our public schools. But Muslims can now have a mosque in many schools. Some schools will not allow a student to wear a Christian t-shirt, but other schools take students on a school bus for a visit to a local mosque allowing the students to stand in the midst of Muslim men. They give students extra credit for such a trip. If our young ladies wear the hijab, they will also get extra credit. Don’t forget that schools also serve “halal” (lawful) lunch. Maybe it’s time for us to learn from the Muslims to take our schools back by following the blueprint of Dr. Sharifa Al Khateeb. Which is simply volunteer- ing and getting involved. In our next article we will be talking about the most important issue, what does Mohammad, the self-proclaimed prophet of Islam, teach the Muslims, those who migrate to the land of the infidels? Another quotation came from Mawdudi in 2007, “…Only when power is in the hands of the Believers and the righteous, can the objectives of Islam be realized … in neglecting this struggle [jihad], one has no means left to please Allah.” In an article by Neil Munro of Breitbart News, he reported that in her speech 7 Jul 2017, Linda Sarsour stated, “Muslims in the United States should not assimilate into American society, but should in- stead act ‘to please Allah and only Allah.’”
verses and a portion of a 1989 speech by Dr. Sharifa Al Khateeb advocating for America to become Muslim as evidenced that some Muslims prioritize spreading Islam over assimilation. I concluded by saying that knowing Islam’s true teachings is essen- tial to judging whether Muslims can fully be “Americans” in values. For example, for any observer to the induction ceremony of a citizen we see Muslims stand side by side with every other new member raising their right hand and giving the oath. The result is that we assume that all Muslims are truly giving an honorable oath. But when we examine Quran 2:225, we realize that we have a problem. Because no, they are not. It is the word of Allah, “Allah will not hold you responsible for your mere utterance in an oath, but he will hold you re- sponsible for that which your hearts gain [means] and Allah is forgiving, forbearing.” From that verse, we can learn that if a Muslim does not mean their oath, it is as if they have never given it. After all, for a Muslim to be a Muslim he or she must submit [give an oath] to Allah, Mohammad, Islam, the Muslim country where they come from, the neighboring Muslim country who they are friends with, and finally the neighboring Mus- lim country who they are enemies with. So where does “the land of the infidel” fit in this long list? In our last article, we emphasized that Dr. Sharifa Al Khateeb bragged about Muslims in America, including her own family mem- bers, consider themselves first and last to be Muslims — not Amer- icans. She praised Allah for such an important decision. She emphasized that she would not assimilate into America. Today I would like to share other, newer generations in America. This was an example of Muslim belief in America 36 years ago. Let us ex- amine what Muslims think of America in more recent years. Around twenty years ago, Anwar Awlaki stated, “To the Muslims in America I have this to say, how can your conscience allow you to live in peaceful coexistence with a nation that is responsible for the tyranny and crimes committed against your own brothers and sisters? How can you have loyalty to a government that is leading the war against Islam and Muslims? “Hence, my advice to you is this: you have two choices: either hijra [migration] or jihad. You either leave or you fight. You leave and live among Muslims or you stay behind and fight with your hands, your wealth and your word. I specifically invite the youth to join our brothers in the fronts of jihad: Afghanistan, Iraq, and So-
Linda Sarsour was actually echoing the words of Dr. Sharifa Al Khateeb as she stated when speaking for Muslims for a Better America. Quoting her, “They try to tell us that we have only two al- ternatives we either have the alternative of becoming a second class citizen to the Judeo Christian heritage and we will never be first class citizens in that case or our other alternative is to become part of a ‘Pluralistic society’ and a pluralistic society right now is re- ally a catch word for secular humanism. Are those our only alter- natives? No. Can we shape our own? Yes. Should we be shaping them instead of asking non-Muslims to shape our definition of our- selves? Yes. Why do we wait and why do we have this inferiority complex that tells us that we cannot define our own agenda? Yes, we can define our own agenda and that agenda is Islam and what our question is not what our agenda is, but how to work it out the proper goal of worshiping Allah. So I wanna stay Islamic and if we are Islamic individuals and we come to our relationship in our con- nection with the public school system as Islamic individuals, then we will not be part of the great what they call American melting pot. We do not want to melt into American Society and disappeared. We want to go into American society with Islamic ideals and revamp their thinking we want to revamp them. We want to turn them into Muslim individuals. We shouldn’t have feelings of distaste for them or intolerance because they’re potential Muslims.”
