DIFFERENT TYPES OF BASE FRAMES When installing your new Trekker Decking, these are the most common bases used.

TIMBER SUB-FRAME

SOLID SUB-BASE

• Can be existing or new (existing needs to be in a sound condition) • Joists must be set to 300mm centres. • Tailor-made to suit the heights that work for your project. • Elevated deck areas enhance the Al Fresco experience! • Easy to customise and incorporate features like steps, planters and seating.

• Can be existing paving, concrete slab, concrete oversite or similar firm & stable material. • Requires little preparation. • Uses Low Profile Composite Batten HO550

• Battens are fixed to Sub-base. • Very minimal height build-up. • Works well with existing door/window thresholds.

• Fast and simple install method. • Great for covering areas that have varying heights. • No major construction work required. • Pedestals are sited on firm level material i.e compacted aggregate or concrete pad. • Can easily be lifted and re-located if required. • Fast and simple install method. • Easily caters for varying heights, roof drainage falls and door thresholds. • Suitable for most roof finishes, GRP, Built-up Felt, Fibreglass Compound etc. • Does not interfere with Waterproofing membranes. RAISED DECK FOR ROOF TERRACE, BALCONIES & VERANDAS
