THE 12 V IN-LITE SYSTEM / SIMPLE & FLEXIBLE
The transformer controls the lighting using a light-sensitive sensor and, if desired, a timer. The transformer is plugged into a power socket. The 12 volt cable is rolled out from the transformer and routed along the fixtures. in-lite sells two types of cables: the thin 14/2 cable and the thick 10/2 cable. When using the 14/2 cable, the cable length between the transformer and a light may be no greater than 40 m / 131 ft. When using the 10/2 cable, the maximum distance is 80 m / 263 ft. Want to split the cable to allow for lines to branch off in your yard? Use a cable connector (CC-2) to split up your cable plan quickly and easily. Important: When you split a cable, you still need to adhere to the maximum cable length between the transformer and the light. The cable can end at an arbitrary point and does not need to form a closed system. The end of the cable is finished off neatly with a cable cap.
