The property is 98% occupied and tenants include Hack- ensack Meridian Health, the Department of Treasury for the State of NJ and West Lake Pharmacy. In June Weiss com- pleted the acquisition of the 11,726 s/f former La Furniture Warehouse retail store in New- ark, NJ located off Broadway and Bloomfield Ave. at 262-270 Broad St. In another key transaction, Weiss arranged the $6.35 mil- lion sale of the 130,180 s/f 2-story office building located at 34Maple Ave. in Pine Brook, NJ. Located in the Parsippany office submarket, the building is situated on 10.42 acres and prior to the sale Weiss acted as the exclusive property man- ager and leasing agent. “We recognized the properties flex- ible zoning, making the build- ing ideally suited for a variety of industrial and office uses and the buildings visibility on Rte. 80 created a good buying opportunity to the buyers, iStar Realty, LLC” said Weiss Realty’s Matthew Weiss .
