Adelman & Adelman May 2019 954-341-2777 Questions for Lawyers One Goal... Justice A Law Podcast Made Just for You May 2019

As much as I love being an attorney, I’ll always jump at the chance to stretch my creative legs and do something that goes back to my education in broadcasting. When I was in college, I had my sights set on a career in broadcasting. Eventually, that goal changed, but the spirit behind it remained, and this year, I’ve been able to put that spirit back to work by bringing broadcasting to the law firm. I’m doing this in the form of videos, podcasts, and live content. I want to focus on a creative way to reach the community in and around Coral Springs. Education is a big part of the process of working with clients or potential clients, as well as in the community at large. I often get phone calls from a wide variety of people asking about different legal issues, and I want to share the answers with everyone, not just my callers. It’s not uncommon for people to feel intimidated calling up a lawyer or visiting their office. When a person does call or visit, there is often a serious or stressful reason behind it. Maybe an accident has happened, a loved one has been injured and is in the hospital, or they’ve had it with the insurance company (or all the above). It’s not always easy to make that call.

I thought, why not create something easy and accessible? Something like sitting down and having a conversation with an attorney, but you can do it from the comfort of your own home. You don’t have to get on the phone or drive anywhere. It’s just there and ready to go. This is what “Questions for Lawyers” is all about. A lot of the legal questions I tackle are ones that folks might ask right off the street. I cover things like what people can expect to pay if they hire a lawyer and what they need to consider before filing for bankruptcy. It goes beyond my area of focus, which is personal injury. I don’t address these legal questions on my own. In each episode, I bring in an expert who is well-versed in the topic of the day. For example, on our April 11 show, I had tax attorney Neil Rumbak. He answered a number of questions related to taxes and tax law. In fact, there were few stones left unturned. Every person I bring on knows what they’re talking about. They’re experts in their field; they are professionals I know and trust, and it’s that trust that I want to share with you! These are also folks who I often tell my own clients about if they need help, especially if that help is outside the scope of what I can deliver as a personal injury attorney. feedback has been great. Listeners have really appreciated the unscripted format that features real answers in real time. I get to put my guests on the spot, and they get to show you just how well they know their stuff. If you listen in on Facebook Live, you can even submit questions, and we’ll answer live on air! In the few months I’ve been doing these podcasts and Facebook Live sessions, the
