December 2025 Newsletter MAAGAZIN

Dear MAAG Americas Team:

With 2025 almost over, we have one month to go to get the shipments out that we have in our backlog. December has the potential to be our biggest month of the year, and I am counting on all your efforts to do what we set out to do – to provide our customers with the best possible experience! Let’s all do our part to finish the year as best as we can! This past year we went through dramatic changes in terms of our operational capabilities, process improvements, and people development! 2026 will provide new challenges but with all your dedication and hard work I am sure that we will be able to succeed!

I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a good start into the New Year!

Paul Merich

Safety Message

Holiday Traditions “Every Christmas Eve, my family gets together to celebrate. We have a potluck-style meal, and the kids gather and sing Christmas songs led by my cousin (Caleb Carpenter) playing the guitar. When they sing “Here Comes Santa Claus,” Santa himself makes an appearance and calls each kid by name, inviting them to sit on his lap and receive their first Christmas gift of the season. My family has had this tradition for many years, and it is always fun seeing the kids’ excitement and reactions.” - Aaron Craft – Electrical Designer, Eagle Rock VA “My husband and I started buying our own gifts and not telling the other person what we bought. We then wrap up the gifts, and my husband opens mine and I open his. So, there is still some fun of opening presents and not knowing what is in them, but we don’t stress about what to buy each other. We buy a few little things for each other and do stockings also. It’s kind of fun for just the two of us.” - Ann Schultz - Production Control Planner & Compliance Champion, Kent OH

“I like to read “The Book of Nothing” the week of Christmas.” - Jeff Patsel – Safety Manager, Eagle Rock VA

“My kids and I love to fill thermoses of hot cocoa and head out one evening before Christmas to view Christmas lights by car. We listen (and sing along) to Christmas carols while we drive around. We have a few favorite neighborhoods that are must-see locations each year, but Facebook often has great lists of places to view holiday light displays. It is fun to see the traditional displays and then also to find some of the over- the-top displays. BTW – my kids are now adults but this is a tradition that will carry on no matter everyone’s age!”- Janet Groborchik – HR Manager, Kent, OH

Furry Friends

Grizzly aka THE GRIZZ aka Count Grizzler – Chad Ross

Hot Cocoa Snack Mix • 4 cups of rice cereal or corn cereal • 1 c. milk chocolate chips • 1 tsp of vegetable oil • 1/2c. Powdered sugar • 2 packets of hot cocoa mix • 1c. Mini marshmallows • 1c. Candy – coated chocolate pieces (M&M's) Directions • Pour rice or corn cereal into a large mixing bowl. • Combine chocolate chips and oil in a separate microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring between each, until chocolate is melted and smooth. • Pour melted chocolate over cereal and carefully stir until cereal is completely coated. • Add powdered sugar and hot cocoa mix to the cereal mixture and toss gently until evenly coated. Allow the mixture to completely dry before storing. If desired, add in mini marshmallows and M&M’s and mix.

24 -pound main coon mix. Don’t let his size fool you, he is a lovable big boy. Without attention will slightly tap you several times until attention is given. Despite his size, he will not eat wet cat food, any cat treats of any kind (trust me I have tried them all) and no table food which I have tried everything. He is the master of Christmas tree anarchy as he has already broken one and generally have to pick up tree 3 to 4 times in the Xmas season. Let's not talk about the ornaments. After all this he still my little buddy who is my shadow.
