Tor Vergata Welcomes Visiting Professors

di Francesca Grandi *

Tor Vergata University of Rome promotes the Visiting Professor Program as part of its commitment to enhancing academic excellence and international collaborations. Open to tenured faculty members from foreign institutions, the program allows visiting scholars to teach for a period ranging from twenty hours to three months in Bachelor's, Master's, One-Cycle Degree, and PhD programs of our University. To find out firsthand what the Visiting Professors Program is all about, we met two professors who recently visited our University: Professor Rodolphe Baudin and Professor Paolo Davide Farah. Professor Baudin is Full Professor of Russian Literature at Sorbonne Université. His research focuses on late 18th- and early 19th-century Russian literature and culture, with interests in egodocuments, translation studies, and disability studies. Each year, the Visiting Professors Program at Tor Vergata University welcomes a considerable number of distinguished scholars from across the globe for research and educational purposes. This initiative offers students the chance to engage with diverse and innovative teaching methods while contributing significantly to the University’s international dimension.
