Why Outpatient Treatment? Outpatient treatment provides a safe & effective transition through a comprehensive range of services focusing on substance abuse. Here at Addiction Treatment Advocates, we offer individualized treatment addressing the personal and unique needs of each patient. We believe that by equipping our patients with the essential tools and strategies, they need to maintain long-term sobriety to be the most effective way in assisting our patients successfully. Supporting them to regain their healthy lives through supportive sobriety as they transition back into society. Self-discovery and recovery are accomplished efficiently gradually and in the presence of safe, compassionate, skilled and supportive individuals. A broad spectrum of services, including 12-step and faith- based treatments, are available to our clients by their needs. • Medical and psychological evaluation • Process groups • Patient education series • Group Therapy • Individual Therapy • Family Therapy • 12 Step Approach Recovery skills training • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd step education and integration practice • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training • Random drug screens • Comprehensive continuing care planning • Anger Management • Relapse Prevention • Life Skills Counseling • Dedicated Support for Helping Individuals Transition Smoothly • Physician Sessions available • Medication-assisted treatment available Addiction Treatment Advocates provides Outpatient Treatment based on State guidelines and is licensed by DCF to provide substance abuse treatment. Groups consist of no more than 15 participants for 2 hours per group, held twice weekly with one individual counseling. Outpatient is an individualized time frame of participation and can last from 8 to 12 weeks based on patients needs and participation. Our goal is to provide discreet individualized care to all our patients while working collaboratively with local community resources
