Blue Diamond Growers Leadership Program The 2026 Leadership Program participants joined together this June for the second half of the program, the summer session. Participants received invaluable lessons from Blue Diamond leaders and external partners. Day one was a full day, where students toured the Blue Diamond Salida plant, learned from the Salida site director, Victor Gomez- Terres and senior regional managers, Trent Voss and Christine Ivory, followed by small group discussions centered on leadership. Bryce Spycher from Almond Board of California also shared the pathway to his career before the group prepared for the graduation dinner. Blue Diamond board director, Nick Blom served as host of the graduation dinner where Christine Ivory and Trent Voss emceed. Blue Diamond ’s president and CEO, Kai Bockmann and John Duarte addressed the students before the dinner buffet. During the dinner each participant shared what they most enjoyed about the program before they received a certificate of completion from the board director from their districts. On day two of the session, students toured Roos Nursery and Duarte Nursery then returned to the Blue Diamond Salida campus for a message on Almond Board involvement from Rebecca Bailey with the Almond Board of California. Lunch was served before the session’s conclusion. The program was robust and educational and filled with wonderful conversations. Congratulations to the 2026 Blue Diamond Leadership Program graduating class!
