Browning Bros. is passionate about providing memorable outdoor weddings, luxury lakeside cabins and the best glamping Essex has to offer. Browning Bros. is located on a certified organic family farm in North Essex countryside, where the focus is always on sustainability and protecting the land for future generations. Over the past decade the Browning Bros. have created two beautiful and unique outdoor wedding venues for you to choose from.
BOTH VENUES HAVE: • A bar on-site with various drinks packages • A range of catering options or the option to bring in your own • Exclusive hire for the whole weekend (Friday-Sunday) • Additional undercover space (stretch tents) • Outdoor lighting • A dedicated in-house events team • Glamping accommodation on-site • All facilities (showers, toilets, kitchen facilities, tables/benches/chairs, lighting, PA systems/speakers, microphones, car parking, mains powers, dancefloors, camp fires, all bedding/towels for the accommodation etc). BOTH VENUES OPERATE FROM APRIL – OCTOBER CHALKNEY WATER MEADOWS Nestled within a water meadow, amongst ancient woodland, Chalkney Water Meadows is the larger wedding venue at Browning Bros. with three giant connected tipis on the edge of a stunning tree lined lake. Ceremonies take place on the willow tree pontoon lawn overlooking the lake, followed by your drinks reception marvelling the stunning scenery, and celebrations held in the giant hat tipis for up to 180 guests.
TEYBROOK ORCHARD Teybrook Orchard is the smaller of our two venues, nestled at the heart of Teybrook Farm between a fruit Orchard and a 20 acre woodland. Ceremonies take place amongst the trees with celebrations held in the beautiful bohemian lined marquee suitable for up to 120 guests. Teybrook Orchard is a wonderful setting for your woodland wedding with a bespoke celebrant-led ceremony in your own personal style.
