King's Business - 1920-04

IS THERE A LEAK IN T o u r Sund a y Sckoo l ? A man was laboriously pouring water into his radiator with a small tin can. He went on pouring but it did not get full. Finally he discovered that the drain-cock was open and the water was running out as fast as he could pour it in. Many Sunday Schools are working and planning to bring in new pupils in the primary and junior departments only to lose them as soon as they leave those grades. To hold boys and girls through the period of adolescence and win them for Christ is the Sunday School’s big gest problem. T h e Golden Harvest It is the biggest problem but also the biggest opportunity. Did you know that more people are won to Christ at the age of sixteen than at any other period in life. Statistics bear this out and yet the phase of Sunday School work that should reap this harvest of souls is, in the average Sunday School, the most in efficient part of the program. Uncertain methods and impractical lesson helps are to blame i for such inefficiency nine times out of ten. Uncertain methods ;bring uncertain results. Impractical lesson helps are not helps ¡but hindrances. The King’s Business in Sunday School work is not an experi ment, it has been thoroughly tried out and not found wanting. It is undenominational in character and allows the Bible to make its own interpretations. Gives support and inspiration to the teacher and helps the living Word to get hold of the pupil. Examine very carefully oijr exposition of the lesson and then make up your mind to try The King’s Business out on at least one class. Write or ask for our special offer to Sunday Schools.
