Outdoor ceremonies
This is an opportunity for couples wishing to have a ceremony where they may declare their love and commitment for each other in front of family and friends. Commitment ceremonies have no legal recognition.
In Kensington and Chelsea, you can have a legal marriage or civil partnership ceremony outdoors. Whether you want to have your legal ceremony under the palm trees in Chelsea Physic Garden, or in the Italian Renaissance splendour of the Victoria and Albert Museum, we can make your special day outside a reality. We also offer non-legal ceremonies outside. Perhaps you want a ceremony in a park, by the river, or next to a dinosaur at the Natural History Museum – these options are also available and can first be accompanied by a legal ceremony at the register office.
