2018 Q2

Condolences

Tommy Rutledge Tommy Jack Rutledge passed away on March 25, 2018, at his home in Guthrie, OK. Tommy was an active member of NADOA, serving on the Board as Corresponding Secretary in 1982, and a member of CAPDOA (Oklahoma City) until his retirement. Tommy was known for his

friendliness, sense of humor and wit; he loved to laugh and tell jokes. If you were looking for the “fun group” at Institute he was sure to be in their midst. He was a wonderful mentor and willing teacher to beginning analysts. Anyone who worked with Tommy will remember his ‘dividing up the pie’ analogies.

Tommy was a drill sergeant in the United States Army for six years before he decided to pursue a career in oil and gas. He began his career in an entry level position with Koch Industries, eventually working his way to Division Orders, where he found his niche and became a highly respected manager. After moving to Oklahoma City, Tommy worked at Grace Petroleum, AnSon Corporation, Chaparral Energy and Windsor Energy before retiring in 2008.

A memorial service and celebration of Tommy’s 71 years of life was held on April 6, 2018.

NADOA extends deepest sympathies to Tommy’s family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Faith Orlowski on the death of her husband, Bill McMahan. Faith is a long time member of NADOA, frequent speaker at Institute and local association seminars and title attorney extraordinaire. Bill passed away on March 16 and a memorial service was held on May 12, 2018. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Tulsa SPCA, 2910 Mohawk Blvd., Tulsa, OK 74110.
