Reuniting and it Feels so Good Are you attending the annual Precious Moments Family Reunion Event? Each year Precious Moments enthusiasts from around the world gather in Carthage, Missouri to learn, dine, share, and make memories. This year’s pre- registered Event will be held July 17 – 19. The Chapel staff is eager to see you there!
Three Decades of Memories On June 19, 1989, the Precious Moments Chapel opened its doors, inviting guests to behold 54 murals, hand-painted by Sam Butcher. Since then, the Chapel has unveiled the Phillip D. Butcher Memorial Room, Tim Ryan Memorial Room, beautiful bronze fountains, and countless special exhibits, mural additions, and improvements. Chapel tours have remained free of charge for visitors, and everyone is encouraged to experience the Chapel and grounds at their leisure, exploring the art and reflecting on life’s blessings. It has been said countless times that Chapel memories really do last a lifetime. “Such a blessing to God’s story in your art. Many pieces are so meaningful and comforting.
