Second and third grade students at BGC Port Salerno learned how to take smaller swings to help them make progress on their ball striking skills. Remy is in his 4th week and is “obsessed” with golf. e students also learned how to take turns and share equipment which re-enforced our life skills of respect and collaboration.

Earlier this year, a new group from ARC of the Treasure Coast arrived at our arti cial turf Westside Learning Center in Fort Pierce, Florida. Some participants had visited our facility before, but it had been a long time. We enjoyed meeting the new faces as well. Aer golf they headed to Walmart to do some shopping. ARC of the Treasure Coast’s mission has been empowering individuals with disabilities since 1956 to provide vital services across the Treasure Coast, fostering independence, inclusion, and realizing potential for all.
