Extent Landslide extent can be defined by susceptibility and incidence, which are defined and depicted in Figure 4.14. Event magnitude is also dependent on topography; landslide risk is higher in areas with steeper slopes. Given the gentle topography of most of the county, the magnitude of any landslides in the planning area would be minor.
