DELTA VALUES: WE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER

▪ We believe in our people and their dreams This means that we understand that our employees are people that have dreams and aspirations. Some of those dreams involve having future opportunities in our organization. Some of those dreams involve personal things like getting married, having a child, or running a full marathon. We believe that each of our people are partners in our journey and not just tools in a tool box.

▪ We promote and assist with continual self-improvement, and self-renewal

We provide an avenue for every individual to create and manage their own Individual Deployment Plan (IDP). Through the IDP process the individual employee works with their supervisor to create an intentional plan that is in alignment with the individual’s dreams/goals and the organization’s needs. We have unlimited access to many forms of training (Leadership, Personal Development, Business, Finance, Safety, Technical, etc.), and both support and ENCOURAGE our people to take advantage of these opportunities. We have numerous examples of how Delta has supported one another through difficult life challenges. It’s important that we all understand that as people we all face challenges. We have stories where an employee or family member was ill and paid time off was donated to help offset time lost. We also have team members who have provided meals and a kind ear to those families in need. It’s as simple as saying good morning as you pass one another in the hall, or asking “how are you?”, and genuinely wanting to know the answer. We must be sure to exhibit compassion, understanding, and grace towards others, not just during hard times, but every day. Empower We believe that everyone at Delta is a leader and every position within our company is held by those leaders. As such, we strive to empower all of our people to lead where they are at in the organization. This does not mean that everyone is in charge and no one is left to do the work. What it does mean is that everyone has the responsibility to influence others to act better, perform better, and improve in their current role. As a leader, each one of us has the power to make decisions which are in the best interest of our organization. Person before profit Delta believes that profit is an import piece of our business but not at the expense of our employees . We do not expect that our people work extra without compensation. We do not believe in misleading our employees to get better results. We do believe in transparency and a partnership with our people to reach mutually agreed upon goals. Profit should be a result of great people working together toward a common purpose . Safety before productivity Delta is 100% Committed to Zero. We do not ever want any of our people to work in unsafe conditions or perform unsafe tasks to increase productivity on a jobsite. Every Delta employee has the responsibility to stop work if there is an unsafe environment or they are being asked to perform an unsafe task. Each member of the Delta family has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We never want anyone of our people to feel “less than” or belittled by any team member, or supervisor. We are all human beings , and no one at Delta is above anyone else. We believe there are no circumstances warranting unkind words, raised voices, or insults. Should you ever disrespect or hurt another employee , we expect you will do your best to restore that relationship in a timely and sincere manner. Work hard and have fun LaMar Hayward says it best, “ I want to make sure that I am giving more than I take and enjoy myself in the process .” Delta relies on its people, for every single one of us play a vital role in the organization’s success. It is important that we all strive to meet our obligations and commitments, perform quality and timely work, be safe, and enjoy what we do.
