HT TABLE ROCK SIMMENTALS
Table Rock Simmentals was formed in 2016 as a seedstock program on our long-standing ranch platform, Table Rock Ranch. We concentrate on providing working-class seedstock that make their living in high-elevation Forest Service leases and dry farms. Our cattle are all wintered on the ranch situated on the north side of South Fork of the Snake River between Idaho Falls and Swan Valley, Idaho. We truly believe that cattle coming out of this environment are fit to go and excel in any conditions. With our concentrated genetic program along with the embryo program we started in 2021, we are committed to bringing you the very best genetics that will profit in any and all envi- ronments. We own and flush eight donors currently with the popular TJ 14J being the most recognized to this point and used in numerous top programs in the country.
Our cattle are not pampered – every animal in the program including donors run in the Caribou Targhee forest or on one of our dry farms situated on the benches above the Snake River. We enjoy a short but fruitful summer and have a long feeding season at 220 days in good years. The next point of impact we pride ourselves on is the docility side of these cattle. We don’t believe in having to look over your shoulder regardless of whether you’re tagging a calf or whatever it may be. We cull hard for any type of disposition. With profit being the focus in all operations we strategically choose from the top sires in the industry to bring cattle to you with stayability, great structure, and the carcass/growth to increase your profitability.
