Welcome again everyone to the Annual Pearls of the Prairie Sale at Kist Livestock Auction in Mandan, North Dakota. We talked about how good prices were last year at this time in the livestock sector, oh my!! Have we ever seen an upward change this year. With cow numbers at an all time low it is time to add some more numbers and genetics to your program. The consignments of the Pearls of the Prairie can help you accomplish this feat.
We will have an excellent set of open heifers again, consigned by Nelson Angus. The heifers last year were very competitive throughout the summer at Junior events and shows, expect the competitiveness again this next year as well. Expect a strong set of bred heifers again this year from all consignors. Sired by some of the Angus Breed’s top sires. Many will carry the service of some of the breed’s newest up and coming sires such as Deer Valley Diplomat, Coleman Easy Decision, Baldridge Grindstone, Connealy Commerce and S Armstrong.
