Martial Arts: ISKC Karate Parent/Child • AGES 7 AND UP Learning martial arts is an excellent opportunity to spend quality time with your child while conditioning muscles, developing coordination and improving cardiovascular fitness. Beginning students will not be permitted to register in the current session after the second class has met. Registration for continuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but full class fee will be required. Uniforms and belt testing are options available through the ISKC instructor for an additional fee. Youth, Parent/Child and Adult classes may train together. Martial Arts: Kids Kung Fu Level 3 • AGES 6-17 Level 3 is for those students that are on the road to their Kung Fu Black Belt. Training in child appropriate staff and sword is introduced along with child appropriate martial arts applications. Instructor approval is required. The Crusaders have developed strong lings with the local high school programs (Naperville Warriors, Neuqua Wildcats, Plainfield Thundercats, Chiefs, Elmhurst Rugby and Arlington Stallions). Rugby is a game that welcomes all kids. No prior experience is necessary. Safety and enjoyment are the top priorities. USA Rugby qualified coaches will work with participants to teach positions and rules, while developing skills in passing, tackling, rucking, mauling, scrums, and lineouts to allow for full enjoyment in a safe environment.Participants will have the option to participate in competitive games, where they will compete for the Rugby Illinois State Championship. Games take place on Sundays, within 1 hour drive from Naperville. Each participant will be provided shorts, socks, and a Crusaders T-shirt. Cleats and a mouth guard are required. Fee includes Rugby Illinois and USA Rugby memberships which are mandatory to play competitive rugby in the USA.
