SPRING BREAK CAMPS

Spring Break: Kids First Dodgeball Camp • AGES 7-13 Have a blast running, throwing, dodging and ducking your way to victory! Individual and team game versions are introduced in a fast-paced, challenging environment. A championship match is held on the final day. The program uses soft, super safe balls. Camp is conducted by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Parents are asked to wait outside of the gym during camp. Spend your break learning and practicing fundamental football skills and strategies. Indoor flag football equipment is used to teach the techniques of the sport through drills and scrimmages. A championship game is played on the last day. This camp is conducted by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym during camp. General rules are introduced including safety and fundamentals, and then the game is played. Choices may include baseball/softball, soccer, flag football, T-ball/Blast ball, kickball, dodgeball and balloon ball. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym during camp. The program consists of body-balance techniques and speed, quickness and agility drills designed to produce a safer, more powerful athlete. A series of team relay races makes the program fun and entertaining. Conducted by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Parents are asked to wait outside of the gym during camp. Spring Break: Kids First Track and Field Camp • AGES 6-13 Camp introduces many of the events that make up the sport of track and field. Learn new techniques and strengthen existing skills. Focus is on teaching the basics of sprints, hurdles, jumps, quickness and throws in a safe and fundamental way. There is a mini-meet at the end of the week. Conducted by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym during camp. Camp focus is on basics of bumping, setting, serving, body balance and first-step directional movements leading to a championship match the last day. All equipment is provided. Taught by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff. Parents asked to wait outside of the gym during camp. Camp participants will role- play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a dog. They will learn how to remove ticks and suture lacerations, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition, the importance of hydration and more!
