Why Faulkner CHS? Ashlyn Goodwin DPT Cohort 3

“Faulkner’s DPT program has not only strengthened my confidence as a future physical therapist, but it has also given me hope, purpose, and countless opportunities. From representing Faulkner’s physical therapy program as Treasurer for both the APTA Alabama Student Special Interest Group and for Faulkner’s PT program, to speaking at the College of Health Sciences building dedication, this journey has been one of tremendous growth. Faulkner is truly a place of restoration, Christian values, and unwavering support from faculty who genuinely care. I’m forever grateful I chose Faulkner to pursue my calling. - Philippians 1:6"

Why Faulkner CHS?

“I chose to pursue my DPT at Faulkner because I knew that it was a Christian university and I wanted to surround myself with professors and classmates that were of the Christian faith. I wanted to attend a place that was not ashamed to talk about Jesus, the gifts he gives us, and the impact we can make on future patients.”

What impact has the program made on you?

“The Faulkner PT program has already made a positive impact on my life because of the relationships I have made with my classmates. Before attending Faulkner, I was unsure that I would make close bonds with new people in my cohort. However, I was able to meet amazing people that have not only care about my success in school, but care about my family, my hobbies, and choose to have fun outside of school.”
