Cash and bank balances are classified as financial assets measured at amortised cost.

(b)

The deposits with licensed banks of the Group and of the Company as at the end of reporting period have maturity periods ranging from 31 to 34 days (2019: one (1) to three (3) months).

The eective interest rates of deposits with licensed banks of the Group and of the Company ranged from 1.80% to 1.85% (2019: 3.05% to 3.30%) per annum.

(c)

Sensitivity analysis for fixed rate deposits placed with licensed banks at the end of reporting period is not presented as fixed rate instrument is not aected by changes in interest rate.

(d)

No expected credit losses were recognised arising from cash and bank balances because the probability of default by these financial institutions were negligible.

Cash and bank balances are denominated RM.
