Rotary’s Ham-O-Rama Sale
The Rotary Club of Hawkesbury’s annual Ham-O Rama sale has begun and as a proud
member of the club I will once again be selling hams. For only $25 you will be delivered
a deliciousmignonhamfromL’Orignal Packing. This is one of our largest fundraisers and
all money raised will go back into the community. A few examples of our donations
include: a very substantial donation to the Hawkesbury General Hospital’s expansion
fund, donation to PCPS’ Playground upgrade, the Mill Street Splash Park, the L’Orignal
Park, continuous support of all of the area food banks, Prescott-Russell Snowsuit
Fund, Camp AmyMolson, CampMerrywood for local handicapped children, etc. If you
are interested in purchasing a ham as a Christmas gift for family or friend, or simply to
donate anamount thatwe canput towards our funds to support our causes, please contact

The Champlain SeniorsGala is celebrating its 10 th
anniversary this yearwith dinner and
an evening of entertainment for seniors in Champlain Township November 22 at the
VankleekHill CommunityCentre, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at a cost of $8 per person. Entertainment
this year is Lauren Hall. A sit-down traditional Christmas turkey dinner will be served at
5:30p.m. This initiative isorganizedbyagroupof volunteers fromChamplainwith thegoal

Dalkeith Brunch
Reserve November 20 on your social calendar. That is when the Dalkeith recreation
association serves up its brunch, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Adults pay $9, those aged 5 to 12
fork out $5 and those under the age of 5 eat for free.
