PK and K musicians, First- through third-grade strings students, fourth- and fifth-grade Orchestra and Band students, and dance groups all perform their select pieces. The performances are always impressive and heart-warming. Winter concerts take place in the Global Wellness Center during December assemblies, and spring concerts take place in April at the Township Center for the Performing Arts. Academic Showcases Academic showcases give Lower School students the chance to display pride and ownership of their learning in ways that also develop their speaking and presentation skills. Open to parents and families, these events include such highlights as the Kindergarten Author’s Tea, First Grade Ultimate Animal Showcase, Second Grade I-Bios, Third Grade State Fair, Fourth Grade Garden Fair, and Fifth Grade Life History Fair. Most grades host at least two showcase events each year. At the showcases, students get to share their work with a live audience, and parents get to learn while supporting their child’s academic work.
