Smart Environment
Smart Environment refers to the management of both built and natural environment to improve the liveability of a city for all stakeholders. Among the smart environment initiatives are the reduction of waste production, pollution, and carbon footprint, as well as increased efficiency of water management and energy consumption through the adoption of new and innovative technologies, and alternative energy sources. Smart Melaka Environment prioritizes its natural resource management which will complement the efforts of disaster risk reduction while responding to the challenges resulting from the climate crisis and the low-carbon society which present multi-dimensional contributions responding to global sustainability and local resiliency.
