CHANNING PALLER, MD Professor of Oncology & Urology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Channing Paller is associate professor of Oncology and Urology at Johns Hopkins University, Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, and associate director for Oncology of the Johns Hopkins Clinical Research Network. She is a clinician scientist focused on translating basic scientific findings into treatments that will improve clinical outcomes and reduce toxicities for men with prostate cancer. Dr. Paller is a lead investigator of the PROMISE registry and, as an expert in clinical trial design, she leads multiple clinical trials of innovative new treatments and treatment combinations employing germline and somatic biomarkers. She earned her MD at Harvard Medical School and completed her medical residency and fellowship in Medical Oncology at Johns Hopkins. RACHEL S. RUBIN, MD Urologist and Sexual Medicine Specialist, Assistant Clinical Professor in Urology, Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Rachel S. Rubin is a board-certified urologist with fellowship training in sexual medicine. She is an assistant clinical professor in urology at Georgetown University and owns her own practice in Washington D.C. Dr. Rubin provides comprehensive care to men and women. She treats issues such as pelvic pain, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and low libido. Dr. Rubin is currently the education chair for the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and an associate editor for the journal Sexual Medicine Reviews. She was named a Washingtonian Top Doctor from 2019 to 2022 and has been on the ZERO Medical Advisory Board since 2018. CHARLES (CHUCK) J. RYAN, MD President and Chief Executive Officer, Prostate Cancer Foundation. Dr. Charles J. Ryan is an internationally recognized genitourinary (GU) oncologist with expertise in the biology and treatment of advanced disease as well as the supportive care of all men with prostate cancer. He was most recently the Director of the Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation Division in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He also served as the Associate Director for Clinical Research in the Masonic Cancer Center and held the B.J. Kennedy Chair in Clinical Medical Oncology. He has published over 200 articles and chapters in the world’s leading medical journals. Live In, released in February 2018. Dr. Ryan is also the Leader of the Advanced Prostate Cancer Cadre in the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, a national clinical trials group, and past Chair of the NCI GU Steering Committee’s Prostate Cancer Task Force.

ALISON MAYER SACHS, MSW, CSW, OSW-C Director of Community Outreach and Cancer Support Services, Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center. Recognized nationally for her leadership in the field of Oncology Social Work, Alison Mayer Sachs is the chair of the Southern California Division of the American Cancer Society, and sits on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Go2Foundation for Lung Cancer; the Medical Advisory Board of ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer; and Chairs the Patient Assistance Committee of the Desert Cancer Foundation. As the Director of Community Outreach and Cancer Support Services, Mayer Sachs and her team are responsible for the development, design, and implementation of community outreach events, community education programs, oncology social work services, oncology nurse

navigation services and disease prevention and health promotion programs at Eisenhower’s Lucy Curci Cancer Center. Maintaining direct patient care, Mayer Sachs facilitates Lucy Curci Cancer Center’s Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer and Multiple Myeloma and Blood Cancer Information and Support Groups. Working alongside the Cancer Center’s CAO, she works with Eisenhower’s Foundation Office cultivating donor relations, and assists Eisenhower’s PR/Marketing Department in identifying and maximizing opportunities to highlight the cancer center’s programs and accomplishments to a wide and varied audience locally, state-wide, and nationally.
