WHO WE ARE
In 1991, Walmart called Midway Mechanical's Mount Pleasant office and asked us to help with a simple rooftop changeout job. Since that time, we have swapped over 50,000 units for Walmart, Sam’s Club and other major retailers across 34 states. Additionally, we have led numerous projects across multiple disciplines, including refrigeration construction, heat pump conversion, hydronics conversion, electrical/EMS, and gas plumbing. We have built our internal team around the needs of big box retailers, with experienced lead technicians representing every major mechanical discipline on job sites throughout the country. Our in-house traveling crews are flanked by a network of trusted subcontractors, enabling us to handle significant volume at consistent quality levels. We work to build long-term partnerships with our customers, which are built over years of doing what we say we will do.

DAILY REPORTING
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. We have built robust onboarding trainings for every employee with safety tests that must be passed before stepping on the job site.
From documenting lockout tagout and worker verification sheets to capturing safety meeting sign-ins and job-site cleanliness, we provide daily reports on our safe, compliant job sites.
COMMUNICATION AND VISIBILITY
EXPEDITED CLOSE-OUT
Our on-site superintendents meet daily with store management, looping in dedicated project managers to escalate items as needed. In addition to our daily reporting, we provide tailored reports after crucial project milestones, including crane nights.
Having swapped over 50,000 units, we understand the importance of closing out a job site in a timely, professional manner, which is why each of our teams goes through a 21-point close-out checklist prior to leaving a job site.

ROBUST INTERNAL TRAINING
ON-SITE TRAINING: LABOR ON MIDWAY MECHANICAL PROJECT After completing internal training, field foremen and key team members work as part of a Midway Mechanical crew on multiple jobs to turn conceptual knowledge into practical understanding.
We've built a robust training engine, requiring every employee across all of our businesses to pre-train on Walmart and Sam's Club expectations, from pre-con- struction meetings to crane night to job completion details.
ON-SITE TRAINING: PROJECT LEAD TEST PERIOD With multiple projects under their belt, foremen are empowered to lead projects, with daily oversight from seasoned Midway Mechanical project managers.

After completing the project lead test period, foremen integrate into the Midway Mechanical execution engine as trusted subcontractors in their assigned region.
