Fort Payne Business Offers All Sorts of Items At 40%-70% Off Retail Prices With the rising costs
of goods and services, one DeKalb County business is helping area consumers out by keeping everything 40%-70% off retail prices. All Sorts Liquidations in Fort Payne opened in March 2022 after owners Scott and Katie Hatcher determined there was a need for the business in the local community. Scott said that the inability to find some of the products in other area retail stores, during and following the COVID pandemic, helped encourage him to open the Fort Payne location. All Sorts Liquidations offers a variety of items ranging from household goods to toys and tools. The store carries items from Lowe's, Home Depot, Kohls, Target, Amazon, Wayfair and Costway, as well as vintage antiques and collectibles. The store averages a truck load of merchandise per week and there is always a huge selection of All Sorts of items. The name for the business, All Sorts Liquidations, came from the movie "Gangs of New York." "We were watching a movie and saw that scene

and the name immediately clicked," said Scott. The scene in the movie he is referring to, took place in the bar where a barrel of alcohol was labeled with All Sorts. When he saw the words All Sorts on the outside of the barrel, Scott knew that it would be the prefect name for the business, because the store has All Sorts of name brand and other items. All Sorts Liquidation is located at 508 B Glenn Blvd in Fort Payne. The business is open Tuesday through Friday
