Michael J. Wopperer ’06 developed and led the $23.1 million redevelopment project of the former Wood & Brooks piano-key factory in the Town of Tonawanda. The six-story former manufacturing building has reopened with 55 apartments and a coworking and incubator space geared toward contractors in the construction trades. Alexander J. Eadie ‘07 was elected for a two-year term as the VP of Professional Development for the Association of Fundraising Professionals WNY Chapter. In this role, Alex will lead professional development opportunities for AFP, including monthly speaker sessions, webinars, and the annual Day of Education conference. AFP WNY is made up of over 300 fundraising professionals from all across the region. Alex is the Senior Director of Advancement at the JCC of Greater Buffalo where he oversees all fundraising activities for the organization. Taylor D. Golba ‘08 was promoted to Senior Partner at Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria LLP. Jeffrey Semrau ‘08 was promoted to senior pharmacist at Erie County Medical Center. LT Kevin R. Brick ‘10 was winged a Naval Aviator on September 15, 2023 at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi with follow on orders to join the Navy’s Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance community, flying the P-8 Poseidon. Aiden M. Ryan ‘11 joined WE Communications as SVP Crisis Management. Dennis R. Gilbert ‘14 , defenseman, was traded to the Ottawa Senators by the Buffalo Sabres. Gilbert had previously played for the Calgary Flames. Patrick W. Judge ‘15 was promoted to Assurance Manager at EY on August 3, 2024. Proud alum, Michael R. Greco ‘17 , continues to carry out the mission of responsibility, accomplishment and service cultivated in the halls of St. Joe’s with his promotion to Senior Associate at Buffalo-based government affairs firm, O’Donnell & Associates, founded by St. Joe’s alum, Jack F. O’Donnell Jr. ‘92 . Braden J. Pritchard ‘18 was elected the new president of North Buffalo’s Parkside Community Association. The PCA is a 501(c)(3) and one of Buffalo’s oldest neighborhood groups. Paul K. DiNicolantonio ‘19 is starting a new position as Wealth Advisor at Hightower LakeWater. Ian S. Klenk ‘20 has been accepted into UB School of Law.
