The nationally recognized, fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologists at Riley Children’s Health treat the full range of pediatric vision concerns from problems remedied only with eyeglasses to complex conditions that require sophisticated surgical procedures. Working with certified ophthalmic technicians, our physicians offer the most advanced eye care available to children, as well as adults with strabismus. OPHTHALMOLOGY

Our pediatric ophthalmology fellowship program is one of 43 such programs approved by the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology. Riley Children’s has trained the second-largest number of fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologists currently in practice in the United States. Riley Children’s is one of the few centers in the nation offering corneal neurotization, a minimally invasive surgery in which nerves are redirected from other parts of the body to the cornea to treat neurotrophic keratopathy.
