Small little folks Ours to mold Starting as acorns Growing into strong oaks We shower them with care Give them a safe place To learn from mistakes And learn to be fair Our actions teach them Empathy and kindness Each new skill To help the oak grow
Reading Writing Math Other Academics will come Learning to live peacefully together Is what makes the oak mature
Listening to other opinions While defending their own
Broadens their world And seasons that oak
Today we only have an acorn With the right nutrients We can grow strong oak trees That will be able to stand tall
Stand united for justice
