KEWANEE EMPLOYEE SPOT L I GHT
LSVT BIG Patient Testimonial: “My Primary Care Physician suspected I had Parkinsons Disease in early summer 2019 and referred me to a neurologist. I was seen by a neurologist in October 2019 and officially diagnosed with Parkinsons. I did LSVT at Kewanee Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services in January and February of 2020. The LSVT rehab program made significant improvement in my gait, getting up from a chair, and in my balance. Prior to the LSVT rehab program, I had started shuffling my feet, was having difficulty in getting up from a chair, and my balance was becoming tenuous. The LSVT rehab program helped me regain my normal gait, greatly improved my ability to get up from a chair, and improved my balance. Four months after participating in LSVT at KPTRS, I continue to benefit from the program, especially as I continue my own in-home use of the exercises.” — Paul Copeland
HANNAH BRIDGEWATER, PTA Physical Therapist Assistant My whole life I have had a passion to help others. I have always been interested in Science classes and the health field, so with a sports background I decided to pursue my career in Physical Therapy. I began this journey with 4 years of college at St. Ambrose University where I double
majored in Exercise Science and Human Performance and Fitness with a Biology Minor. I then began working as a Therapy Tech for two years at Genesis PT and Sports Medicine while taking classes at Black Hawk College to earn my Associates Degree in Applied Science. I then became a Board Certified Physical Therapist Assistant. I have treated multiple patients in various settings, such as: inpatient therapy, neuro rehab, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient therapy. I could not have chosen a better career! I live in Kewanee with my sister, Emily, and her yellow lab, Frannie Mae. I enjoy spending my time with friends and family and am always down to attend a concert.
