Grade PreK Our Community: Haitian Heritage Haitian Creole is one of the most common native languages of our multilingual learners. Yet, few classroom libraries have high-quality books that reflect Haitian/Haitian American culture. So we partnered with Jamie Hector, a Haitian American actor and storyteller, to curate the best children’s books on Haitian culture and history available.
