Home Instead Central Hampshire OUR DOMICILIARY CARE SERVICES
What Is Domiciliary Care? Domiciliary care, also known as home care, is a support service that allows individuals to receive professional care in the comfort of their own homes.
Rather than disrupting familiar routines or relocating to unfamiliar surroundings, domiciliary care brings experienced carers to you, allowing individuals to live safely and comfortably at home while receiving the support they need. Domiciliary care is not just about physical help, it’s about preserving lifestyle, identity, and emotional wellbeing while offering peace of mind to both the person receiving care and their loved ones.
Whether it’s assistance with everyday tasks, personal hygiene, medication, or more advanced medical and mobility needs, domiciliary care is designed to help people maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life without having to move into a residential setting.
My mother continues to be extremely well cared for by the team that visit her. Each carer has developed a very good relationship with her and she regards each as a friend. All caring tasks are performed well and every carer treats my mother with respect and kindness. I think it is a testament to the success of the whole team effort that my mother is able to continue to live in her own home, as she wishes, even as she approaches her 100th birthday. My sincere thanks to you all from my mum and me. Robert S (Son of Client)

Our approach to Care Quality Assurance
For us, care is never just a task. It’s about building trust, dignity, independence and respect. We believe in creating real connections that make people feel safe and valued in their own homes. Our values are simple: kindness, respect, reliability, and always putting people first We take pride in delivering high-quality, consistent care, starting with a multi-layered approach to recruitment. Every Care Professional undergoes a thorough interview process, full reference checks, and enhanced DBS screening to ensure only the most suitable, trusted individuals join our team. All carers receive extensive training and are personally introduced to clients by a member of our management team, with a detailed bio provided in advance. We carefully match clients and carers based on personality, interests, and background, whether that’s a shared love of gardening, baking, or a mutual connection like military service, to help build trust and lasting relationships. We keep care teams small and visit times consistent to support continuity and comfort. As clients' needs evolve, we provide ongoing training and full support to both carers and clients, ensuring everyone feels safe, confident, and well cared for.
From the beginning, their personalised approach stood out. The initial assessment was thorough, allowing them to develop a customised care plan tailored to our needs. The caregivers are exceptional, compassionate, genuinely invested in my sister's well-being, and often become trusted companions. D P (Brother of Client)
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US
“This week my mother aged 91 flooded the utility area floor twice in quick succession. The first time occurred before a Home Instead assistant arrived and the assistant duly mopped up and disposed of the water which made her late for her next appointment but she stayed to make sure Mum was ok. Then someone from the office rang for a catch-up and offered to chase up the surgery for me so Mum could have her flu jab at home. That was a great relief I'm struggling with my own health at the moment. Finally, this afternoon because Mums' washing machine isn't working at the moment a Home Instead assistant took a lot of mum's washing home with her to do it there and bring it back. All of this in my opinion is beyond and above what we might have expected and Mum and I are both very grateful that Home Instead staff go the extra mile.”

Support for You
We understand that when someone you love requires care, it affects the entire family, which is why our services are designed to support not only the individual receiving care but also everyone around them. Whether you’re a spouse navigating daily changes, an adult child balancing care with work and family life, or simply someone wanting reassurance, we’re here to help. Our dedicated approach to dementia care recognises the unique challenges this condition brings, from memory loss to changes in behaviour and how those challenges affect families emotionally and practically. With over 944,000 people in the UK now living with dementia, and projections showing that number will surpass 1 million by 2030, finding the right support has never been more important. We offer peace of mind through small, consistent care teams, where carers are carefully matched with clients based on shared interests, values, and personalities. This creates meaningful connections and familiarity both essential for those living with dementia, where routine and trusted relationships can make all the difference. For families, our easy-to-use app offers real-time updates, so whether you’re nearby or further afield, you’ll always know how your loved one is doing. You can view care notes, communicate with the team, and stay involved every step of the way, providing confidence and reducing the stress that so often comes with organising care. Our experienced carers receive specialist dementia training and work closely with families to create personalised care plans that evolve as needs change.
