Your plan is fully flexible and can be changed as your circumstances or preferences evolve. Are carers vetted and trained? Yes. All carers are enhanced DBS-checked, reference-checked, and receive ongoing mandatory training, including safeguarding and first aid. Is there a minimum number of visits per week? No, however our shortest call time is 1-hour, this is to ensure we are able to offer the best service without you feeling rushed. Can family members be involved in care decisions? Yes, with your consent, family members are encouraged to be part of the care planning and review process and are able to access the app to read updates about each visit. How do I talk to my parents about getting care at home? Start with empathy. Reassure them that care doesn’t mean loss of independence , in fact, it helps preserve it. Focus on how support can relieve stress and maintain dignity, and offer a trial period to ease the transition.
