Further information Members are entitled to inspect copies of documents giving information about the Scheme. In some circumstances copies of documents can be provided, but a charge may be made for copies of the trust documents (Deed and Rules) and of the Actuary's report.

The Pension Service – Pension Tracing Service * The Pension Tracing Service’s main purpose is to provide a tracing service for members (and their dependents) of previous employers' schemes, who have lost touch with earlier employers and Trustees. To trace a benefit entitlement under a former employer's Scheme, enquiries should be addressed to:

The Pensions Advisory Service * The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) is a free and impartial service that provides guidance and support to anyone with a workplace or personal pension. If you have general requests for information or guidance concerning your pension arrangements you can contact:

Complaints and disputes Any concern connected with the Scheme should be referred to Mrs J Beake, Secretary to the Trustee, who will try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. If you are not satisfied that your concern has been addressed, you may use the Scheme’s Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure (IDRP). You can obtain a copy by writing to Mrs J Beake, Secretary to the Trustee, Carrier (UK) Pension Scheme, Pentagon House, Sir Frank Whittle Road, Derby, DE21 4XA.
The Pensions Ombudsman * You have the right to refer your complaint to The Pensions Ombudsman free of charge.
The Pensions Ombudsman deals with complaints and disputes which concern the administration and/or management of occupational and personal pension schemes and can assist either;
a) Through its Early Resolution Service, a streamlined and informal service that does not require complainants to have used the IDRP; or b) Through its adjudication service which can be used in the event that a complaint cannot be resolved following the completion of the IDRP Contact with The Pensions Ombudsman about a complaint needs to be made within three years of when the event(s) you are complaining about happened – or, if later, within three years of when you first knew about it (or ought to have known about it). There is discretion for those time limits to be extended.
