Allergies include nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes. We can test for allergies and additionally give allergy shots (immunotherapy). Childhood Illnesses We treat a variety of childhood illnesses, like Impetigo, Ringworm, Bronchitis, and viral illnesses. Cold Or Flu Symptoms Including fever, chills, and body-aches. We can also test for Influenza and Mononucleosis.
Dr. Vishal Patel pursued Internal Medicine Residency training at Paterson, NJ from St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center affiliated with Mt Sinai University. He finished his training in 2009, then became a practicing physician in hospitals in Alabama and Florida. It is during these years that he developed his passion for primary care medicine—direct and comprehensive patient care. He joined River City Primary and Urgent Care in June 2016. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Patel is a member of ACP (American College of Physician) for more than 5 years. He is Suboxone (Buprenorphine) certified, treating opioid addiction—a vast nationwide epidemic. He has vast experience in treating major medical conditions— both critical and stable. Today, Dr. Patel wants to dedicate his time in preventive and primary care medicine. His greatest strength is compassionate patient care with a personalized touch—a true patient advocate, according to his patients. Dr. Patel was born in India. He went to P. S. Medical College in the western Indian state of Gujarat. He is happily married, has a son, and loves to spend time with his family. Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and watching movies.
