ACE-ing the future of work

Launch of the CIPD North Senior People Professionals Network

Our first hybrid Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE) proved a huge success. It brought thousands of people professionals together, in Manchester and online, to look beyond the pandemic at how we reset and build a better future for people at work. High profile speakers included Labour MP and Shadow Lord Chancellor and Justice Secretary David Lammy, who delivered a passionate speech about the importance of racial equality at work. Author and journalist, Caitlin Moran proved a highly popular closing keynote, discussing the ‘HR influence’ and the importance of stepping up, innovating and experimenting.

Over 80 senior people professionals joined us for the launch of our new network – exclusively for senior people professionals in the north - to help recharge and support HR in times of strain. CIPD North’s Senior People Professionals Network has been developed to help those of you who are at a strategic leadership level, prioritise your own health and wellbeing, and meet and share your experiences with like-minded peers. Our next session will focus on your career development. Find out more here.
