COLOMBIA: THE FLS MODEL RECOGNIZED IN NEW NATIONAL CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINE
The new clinical practice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in Colombia marks a significant advance in secondary fracture prevention by including the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) model. The guideline was launched during the Latin American Course on Bone and Muscle Health and the 8th Advanced Osteoporosis Course for Residents hosted by the Colombian Association of Osteoporosis and Mineral Metabolism (ACOMM).
