FINAL CAF WInter 2025

One of the grower participants, Cheryl Murray, attended the workshop to gain confidence before hosting her own workshop at her farm. She stated, “The workshop was very helpful,” and has set up a workshop in her region with volunteers and the help of her northeast Central State University Extension educator, to hold another high tunnel re-skinning workshop at her farm. Those volunteers may in turn follow her footsteps. Central State University Extension understands that the needs of one farm are probably the needs of many. CSU Extension offers workshops across the state that address the needs of growers and empower them to become more self-sufficient problem solvers on their farms while balancing the challenges of limited resources that many growers face. A handout on high tunnel re-skinning was created after the workshop to help participants remember the steps involved in the reskinning process.
