Midwest is the first of 3 Vanguards that made the cut for growth bulls, he is stout on the cow side of his pedigree and proved it with a 108 WW ratio and 104 YW ratio. He is a bit more standoffish but never been a problem. One look and you can tell he belongs in the power bulls.
Mettle is double bred to Tanker through the cows on both sides of his pedigree. Ratios of 96 BW, 106 WW, and 101 YW back up his solid EPD profile. Like his sire who pulled natural service duty here for 3 years, he is practical but not flashy, the kind that stand the test of time.
