A Head of Property Management is required to manage a vast array of properties across the UK ranging from prime Central London assets to multi sector UK wide portfolios whilst leading Chapman Petries’ Property Management team.

HEAD OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT (Associate Director/Director) Reporting to: Managing Partners
ROLE To lead and manage the Chapman Petrie Property Management team (surveyors, FM and Finance), ensuring effective Property Management solutions to the established client base whilst actively seeking to grow the department through existing and new customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Property Management Directly manage a nationwide mixed portfolio throughout the UK (office, industrial and retail) including: • Inspections • Tenant meetings • Licence applications • Service charge budgeting and forecasting • Asset enhancement initiatives Client Interaction Act as the main client interface on all Property Management matters, regularly reporting on portfolio performance. Meeting and speaking with clients regularly on all matters relating to their current and future portfolios.

Business Development Take an active role in business development: • Identify opportunities with current client through exceptional service delivery and new acquisitions/handovers. • Liaise with colleagues in other departments and actively pursue clients with their assistance. • Represent Property Management in key client meetings, pitches and client engagement meetings • Organise meetings with potential clients and ensure regular contact and dialogue is maintained. • Consistently seek to deliver ‘service excellence’ and maintain a high client satisfaction. Team Management • Run a profitable and cost-efficient team, and to monitor and optimise the financial performance. • Proactively manage staff related matters – conduct appraisals, set objectives and monitor performance. • Promote and maintain effective communication at all levels across the department including decisions, targets and objectives. • Encourage, motivate and create personal development opportunities for members of the Property Management team. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) • Experience of leading client relationship and increasing performance • Experience of using TRAMPS • Proven Property Management experience on behalf of private clients and Property Companies • Experience in leading a team and driving performance through individuals
