TrustMark – Change is afoot!
If you have TrustMark registration alongside your FMB membership, you already benefit greatly from the fact that the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme is sought after by many consumers and local authority clients. Did you know that TrustMark registration is now also the gateway to accessing certain grant funded work under Government-funded energy efficiency schemes such as the ECO 4 Scheme, which runs until March 2026, and the Optimised Retrofit Scheme in Wales. To comply with TrustMark framework criteria, all TrustMark registered businesses are required to provide financial protection to their customers with every job they do. If you are a dual member, this is easy to comply with because FMB Insurance can now supply the required Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG) policy and you can benefit from immediate access to an IBG policy. This way, you are considered to have already met the onboarding checks due to your registration. To start the process, the next step you need to take is to register your project on a job-by-job basis. This can be a great selling point to highlight when bidding for work and it will set you apart to help you win the projects you want.
