Last month’s edition of “Did You Know” described the devasting effect the Civil War had on the trees on the land now occupied by the ANCC Arlington campus. Although it is highly unlikely that any of our current trees are Civil War “survivors”, we are fortunate to have two Virginia “State Champion” trees on the Arlington campus.
