Encore une fois, l’offensive des Nats était trop puissante
12 buts en deux matchs, dominant ainsi leurs adversaires. Le 26, les Nats faisaient face aux Bears de Smiths Falls à Rockland. L’équipe locale a vite fait de s’emparer du match. Jack Sullivan, aidé de Aiden Hilton et Matthew Vermaeten a marqué le premier but, suivi

Les Nats ont donc remporté la partie par la marque de 5 à 1. L’équipe de Rockland a donc une fiche de 12-7-1-1

Scoring for the Cougars were Nikolas Ayotte, Tyler Dopelhamer, Kyle Giroux, Vincent Huneault, and Justin Labrosse, with goals assists by Huneault, Nicolas Castonguay, Trystan Lavoie, and Keean McEachern. Sébastien Moreau was in the net. The Castors are on the road November 3 to play the West Carleton Inferno, then home Sunday afternoon against the North Dundas Rockets. St. Isidore The St. Isidore Eagles are now tied with Clarence Creek for second place in the NCJHL standings. St. Isidore beat the Gatineau Hull-Volant 8-6 at home Sunday, over the October 28 weekend. Their next games are November 2 in Gatineau for a rematch with the Volant, and then home Sunday evening to host the Bytown Royals.
The Clarence Creek Castors played with a short bench Sunday afternoon when they hosted the Vankleek Hill Cougars, but the Castors still pushed the game into overtime before losing 5-4 to the Cougars. Nathan Melée earned the team’s first star player nomination. He opened the scoring for Clarence Creek to tie the game up one-all in second period and helped on two other goals. Aiden Cannell also scored a point and assisted on two other goals to earn the second star player nomination of the game. Remaining goals came from Kyle Goodman and Patrick Lemay, with Lemay, Matthew Clifford and Raphaël Payant assisting on goals. Corey Camirand guarded the net.
