Education/Training

A good general education to at least A Level or equivalent

Relevant professional qualifications, such as hospitality or general management qualifications NVQ Level 3 and above, Nebosh General Certificate Membership of a relevant professional body such as the Institute of Hospitality (IoH) or Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Work Experience/Other Relevant Experience

Proven experience in a student accommodation/hotel environment preferably within a multi-site organisation

Practical knowledge and experience of soft facilities management via in house or contract arrangements

A good working knowledge of relevant Heath and Safety Legislation

Experience of staff training

E

Previous staff management or supervisory experience

Previous experience of customer service with a solution focused approach

Good knowledge and practical application of relevant IT systems and software
